On our last day of Vegas we weren’t messing around. We had until 5:00pm to hit the town. First stop – the neon museum. Our tour started at 9:00am. It was already almost 100 degrees and they said temps inside the graveyard were already reaching 105. This means I got to live my dream by walking around in the heat with an umbrella. I loved it and this tour. Second stop – met the family at In-n-Out, grabbed a macaroon ice cream sandwich then sweat it out waiting in line at the Welcome to Vegas sign. Third stop – Walk the majority of the strip  – gamble and head to the plane.

Let freedom riiiiiiing!! Let us all swim for the day with lady “Sparkles” (the unicorn). We swam until we parted ways in the late afternoon. Brooklyn and my parents headed to Pretty Lake for the night and Lucy and us headed back to Chicago since worked called the following day. As much B loved her fireworks that night our experience was the best! We watched fireworks from miles of suburbs go off forever. The picture below barely does it justice.

Happy 4th of July from the lake known for it’s looks.
Once again, if theres water and a beach – B will be occupied for the whole day. It was great spending a full day outside and even better watching Brooklyn take on the whole experience independently. We only watched a few fireworks which was more than enough for Lucy. She was not too happy about the noise level.
